Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is not a part of our business. It is how we do business. We strongly believe in bolstering the communities that support our private enterprises. Our goal extends beyond raising profits. Through projects that promote education, health and the environment, we are committed to improving living conditions at every outpost our companies operate in.
Our values are simple: spread knowledge, promote a healthier and greener world, and act in times of crisis. All Zuellig Group companies express these values by integrating into their businesses a variety of programs specific to the needs of their communities. Education is a vital component. Education enables communities to help themselves long after we’re gone. Our projects in Asia Pacific have offered scholarships to local nurses and doctors seeking to improve their management skills, as well as provided support and aids to rural primary schools and local farmers clubs. These efforts promote the success of future generations.
Wellness is equally important. We take an active part in improving the health of local communities and the environment. Zuellig companies have organized breast cancer awareness programs, worker health checks and flu immunizations. Employees have helped clean beaches and started recycling programs to reduce our company’s carbon footprint.
When crisis strikes, our group companies act. We have offered practical support to colleagues in decimated areas. Companies and employees have responded to local flooding, earthquake, typhoon and other disasters by contributing time, supplies and knowledge where they were urgently needed.
